Boliviaaaaaaa

I absolutely felt in love with Bolivia. I can't believe that I almost missed it! Bolivia is so far my favorite South America country...Although Colombia has a special place in my heart.

I drove from Tumbes, Peru, to Caraz, Huaraz, Lima, Caparas, Arequipa to Arica in Chile, to La Paz in Bolivia. 

Some stuff worth mentioning :
- Caraz is so much better than Huaraz...backpacker...don't bother going to Huaraz. 
- Peruvians are very friendly and helpful. They will try to help you, even if they have no clue what they are doing.
- The Pacific Highway #1, south of Lima, all the way to Camana is absolutely breathtaking. Very windy, but spectacular ocean side scenery. It is to be noted that it is a death road, as one bad turn and you're in the Pacific Ocean, 200m below.
- Peruvian drivers are bad, excruciatingly bad. But Bolivianos are even worst. 
- Fuel is $1.30CAD a liter in Peru and roughly $0.80CAD in Bolivia. 
- The Jeep Wrangler is a total beast. 150 000 kms on it and still running great. Not a single issue. Always starts...and always brakes.
- Sajama National Park in Bolivia is ABSOLUTELY A MUST. You have to go.

The street food is very good and cheap in Bolivia. People are very friendly to a stranger. The more remote you get, the better it gets. The better it will get then.
