Letter to Fujifilm corporation

If you are not from Fuji Corporation, don’t bother reading ;). This post got so much traction that Fuji headquarter reads it.

You might wonder what’s my problem with the X-Pro3.

Here. Maybe it is because I feel that you became arrogant and greedy. Maybe I’m wrong too.

But you used to be the Leica’s poor man version of rangefinder camera. You used to make things for quality, not for quantity. Your products are phenomenal, still. The X-H1 is the best camera I ever had. I will buy the X-H2 in a hearbeat.

We want, for the X-Pro4: A normal screen. Not even flipping. Just give us the same screen as the X-Pro2. A better OVF! That’s why people buy the X-Pro series! A lower resolution sensor but with better high ISO. Keep the autofocus of the X-Pro3.

I cannot see how the X-Pro3 will survive in the market until 2022. It uses to be for Pro (Thus X-Pro) and you turn it into X-Amateur3.

I use to preach Fuji to everyone I know. I am still telling everyone to get the X-H1. But don’t forget the first adopters. Don’t forget what made your rebirth in 2012 and on. We don’t need X-T4: We need a X-H2. We need a X-Pro with a crazy good OVF.

Some of the best shot I ever made were with that first generation of X-Trans sensor. Can you make that happen again?

Cheers,

JP
