How to build a lifeboat

Soul discovery requires a lot of work.

If you are not willing to change, leave this page and go back to your Facebook feed. But if you do want to change and get on the path of betterment, stay with me and let’s sail on the most beautiful world.

Written for the Ben of this world, keep it up my dudes.

When the arc of our life starts to fall back down a little quicker than what we are used to and when the circle of our life conjures a little closer to its original start, it behests us in a placelessness that very few human beings can handle.

This inability to handle ourselves properly when facing the spell of our demise is the root of our downfall as a Man, as society and to civilization itself in a larger sense (not that civilization is a good thing: it has an embedded fatality that we’ll explore later on).

How to break the spell?
Would words be enough?
Could finite words ever deconstruct something infinite?

No.
Usually, it can’t.
But I’ll allow the magic of the logos to work on. After all, if the ocean can calm itself so can you. We are both salt water mixed with air. Some might get the reference.

The inability for a man to confront himself and to plunge in the depth of the pool of (his) contention where wounds and sorrows and bitterness mix all together is a symptom of a much deeper problem. The paralysis that we experiment at the edge of the springboard is very real; and it leaves us unable to dive in the mystery of it all. Soul-crafting requires such a jump.

This article is the push that you might not want –but might need– to make you jump over the edge of your comfort zone. I cannot push you, but if the pool can calm itself so can you: for we are both soul and body mixed with mystery.

If fear of death is often argued as the impediment to the greatness of soul, and to a lesser degree of intellectual sophistication, the root of all of our problems, I’ll advocate that it is rather separateness that is truly the core problem. The fear of death is rooted in the Story of Separation that we dwell in.

This separateness between us and the kosmos leads us to be unable to die properly, and to live properly; and therefore to achieve the greatness of the soul and nobility of character that Epictetus portrayed so powerfully in The Discourses (not written by him, I’ll point that out). It’s all intertwined.

We are not separated from the cosmos. Consciousness makes the world. Order arises from the Many Worlds by generating wave of thoughts [energy?] and it collapses dimension (lifeline) into the reality as we know. The logos of the gods in Genesis calibrated the light of our consciousness: maybe we only exist on the spectrum of what our cognitive mind can detect and label: I do not know if we are all still in a dream, or the dream is in us, or even if the dichotomy that we abide by even exist. For all intents and purposes, we are all alone in this collective hysteria called reality. But that’s another topic for another day.

We define the world as we go on. We are experimenters part of the experiment. 100 years of quantum physics will definitely show you that we affect reality as we go on with our life. And so I would ask you to read these nine books. You don’t have to: but if you want to grow up and understand how reality works, you know, the thing that is around you, you have to. See, there is no “should” in this clusterfuck that is our life in this dimension: but there are a few musts out there. If you are willing to change, and only if the will exist, this is the start of a new empire for you: something worth striving for.

You don’t have to chase excellence: Society won’t reward you.
You don’t have to know how to walk properly: Society won’t notice you.
You don’t have to be able to refound civilization if the need arises: oblivion will take care of you in case of an Extinction Level Event.
But maybe the goal in the Game of Life isn’t not dying, but rather experimenting reality as player one, and having a helluva time doing so.

We were taught that drowning in the open water of our own failures and misery is something bad; something to be avoided. I am saying no. Drowning is not bad. Go feel your misery. Go feel the extent of your failures. Fail fast, fail often. The only true failure is the failure of inaction: of staying by the ocean without daring to go out there and try something.

Make a raft out of whatever you got, and try to sail a bit. Don’t have much? Good. Find supply material in the following non-fiction books!
